EMSA Kicks Hunger Campaign 2024 Wrap Up

The Board and staff of the Elgin Middlesex Soccer Association are pleased to announce that on December 4, 2024 we dropped off the donations collected for this year’s EMSA Kicks Hunger Campaign.  It was our hope that the Campaign would exceed what was collected in 2023 and the results have been incredible!

The total collected was 727 lbs of non-perishable food items and $950.00 by way of cheques. 

We would like to thank the following who have made this possible:

1.      The BMO Centre for permitting us to use space for the donations for the month of November;

2.      The BMO staff for keeping an eye on the donations and helping load them into our cars for delivery to the London Food Bank;

3.      The Oakridge Soccer Club, whose players, parents, coaches and club executive, really made this Campaign their own and collected a huge               amount of donations, which you can view on the EMSA website;

4.      The EMDSL for requesting members to bring donations for the Campaign to their AMM;

5.      All EMSA Leagues for promoting this Campaign;

6.      The EMSA Board would like to thank the EMSA staff for monitoring the donation boxes to make sure there was always room for more                     donations and for sending out weekly reminders of the Campaign; and

7.      Last but not least, all of you, our membership who have donated to or promoted the Campaign.
