Please note some processes will be updated for Roster approval shortly.  Please be patience while we work with Ontario Soccer with their roll out of OSCAR and AIMS retiring.

ADULT TEAMS

Clubs will be required to follow these steps to have their Rosters approved by EMSA

1- complete player/team registration on SportEngine

2- request any player/coaches cards that are required for new to club players

3- complete the Team Official Registration form (Can be found under "Registration", "Outdoor", "Team Official Registration"). ** only required for Senior Competitive  (Senior Recreational does not require form but still needs roster approved).  Email this completed form to emsada@rogers.com OR put the coaches NCCP# in the comment section on SE

4- EMSA will review and approve online team registration on SportsEngine on an ongoing basis.  When the club sees that the team is fully approved online and the club is DONE adding players/staff, then email a PDF roster to emsada@rogers.com in the RE: line put "CLUB NAME, ' FINAL ROSTER APPROVAL"  (players can be added through out the season, this is for the beginning of the year).

Instructions on how to create PDF to email EMSA

Step 1: print roster

Step 2: Box comes up directing you to print at certain printer "Destination", there is a drop box which says "Save as PDF"
Step 3: save as PDF same name as team
Step 4: email to emsada@rogers.com with club name and Final Roster approvals

 

The EMSA approved Roster should be available at all games.

Grassroots Team Rosters U4-U12  *** all grassroots ar POOLED, DO NOT place them on Teams****
club who do place grassroots players on teams may be fined by EMSA.

**Outdoor 2019 - TECHNICAL DIRECTOR AND TEAM MANAGER CERTIFICATIONS**

Managers
Managers sitting on the bench (Bench Manager) will require Making Ethical Decisions and Respect in Sport (coaches are to follow OS Certification requirements)

Technical Directors (authorized to sign Fast Track Forms)

Technical Directors for clubs who wish to have players fast tracked will be required to be fully qualified or proof that they have signed up for the National B License Part 1 Certified (or equivalent) or the TD Diploma.  For Outdoor 2020 the TD will need to be fully qualified.

Ontario Soccer is pleased to announce the launch of the first Technical Director Diploma course presented in Canada. The course focuses on defining the Technical Director’s role and providing them with the necessary tools required to meet the demands of the position. The course addresses topics such as Player Development through the Talented Pathway, Management and Leadership styles, and Mentorship and many more. The course is delivered over five days straight and a 100% attendance is required. Candidates will be required to complete pre and post course assignments to complete the course.

Course Application Requirements:
Eligible candidates must obtain a minimum National B License Part 1 Certified (or equivalent), Make Ethical Decisions, Respect in Soccer, and Making Headway in Soccer.
