Shine the Light is an ALL-GIRLS Soccer tournament hosted in London Ontario. The premise behind this ALL-GIRLS tournament is to support the actions and programming behind many initiatives of keeping girls in sport. Ontario Soccer and Respect in Sport has made this a key principle in the growing of the sport while raising awareness of Human Trafficking and Abuse Against Women.
The tournament takes place in London on August 31-Sept 2 (Labour Day Weekend) at North London Fields/ Windermere Complex.
London Whitecaps has teamed up with London Abused Women’s Centre and named the tournament after their cause named SHINE THE LIGHT. Proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the SHINE THE LIGHT Campaign.
