Many of you have been providing video training opportunities for your players and EMSA supports your efforts to keep your players connected. However, we have confirmed with Ontario Soccer that there would be no insurance coverage available through Ontario Soccer for a player who injures themselves during a remote training session. EMSA's recommendation to you is that you have parents agree to a waiver that they understand there is no Ontario Soccer insurance coverage, and that the players must rely on their own personal insurance coverage and Ontario health insurance should an accident happen.
